WAGASA

This is a traditional Japanese Wagasa from Gifu,Japan.

It takes about three months to make a single umbrella.

Everything is handmade,from preparing the bamboo to assembling the frame and attaching the washi paper.

Wgasa are not only functional umbrellas but also pieces of art that reflect Japanese craftsmanship and beauty.

Today,only a small number of artisans can make authentric Wgasa ,making them increasingly rare.
